Sooty's Magic Lamp is an episode from The Sooty Show.
Plot[]
Matthew tells Sooty, Sweep, and Soo the story of Aladdin and his Magic Lamp. Later, whilst clearing out the attic, they stumble across a dusty, old lamp. When they later take a better look at it, they summon a grumpy genie. The genie will only grant them each one wish; Sooty wishes for a louder voice, Soo wishes Sooty would be quiet, and Sweep wishes to think of something to wish for. Matthew, determined not to waste his wish, thinks hard. He then accidentally says he wishes he'd never kept the lamp. His wish is granted and their memories of the genie and the lamp are erased. Matthew sings Sooty, Sweep, and Soo to sleep and then goes to rescue the lamp from the rubbish.
