Windsor Davies (born in Canning Town, London, England, UK, August 28th, 1930), best known for his role as Battery Sergeant Major Williams in the sitcom "It Ain't Half Hot Mum", played the Welshman in the Sooty & Co episode Pulling the Wool. Also, many years earlier in 1985, Davies guest starred as himself in an episode of The Sooty Show, Treasure Hunt.

He died on January 17th, 2019 at the age of 88, four months after his losing his wife.
